Key Responsibilities
- Perform system analysis for AS400-based applications supporting core banking functions.
- Work extensively on Silverlake core banking modules, including CASA, Loans, Deposits, and Payments where applicable.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support application enhancements, change requests, and system upgrades.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal development teams for fixes, enhancements, and deployments.
- Conduct system testing, SIT, UAT support, and post-deployment validation.
- Ensure systems comply with banking regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
- Prepare system documentation, including functional specs, technical specs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in on-call support and weekend support as required by business operations.
Required Skills And Experience
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with AS400 IBM i platform.
- Proven experience working on Silverlake core banking system is mandatory.
- Good understanding of core banking processes, including accounts, loans, interest calculations, and end-of-day processing.
- Experience in system analysis, functional design, and application support.
- Knowledge of RPG, CL, DB2, and AS400 job control concepts.
- Experience working in a regulated banking environment in Singapore is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
