Job Overview:
We are hiring a Software Systems Analyst to support the design, configuration, and enhancement of the Silverlake SIBS Deposits module, which powers critical functions for retail and corporate banking accounts.
This role acts as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that deposit product configurations (e.g., savings, current, fixed/term deposits) and their associated interest rules, fee structures, and GL postings are correctly analyzed, specified, and delivered through the Silverlake system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for deposit products (e.g., CASA, FD).
- Map business requirements to SIBS Deposits module features such as:
Interest calculation rules (daily/monthly, tiered)
Maturity rollover logic
Penalty interest / early withdrawal conditions
GL integration and posting rules
Auto-renewal and payout settings - Create functional specification documents (FSD) and support developers during technical design and implementation.
- Participate in parameter configuration and table maintenance in the Silverlake environment.
- Conduct system walkthroughs and gap analysis for deposit workflows and identify enhancements.
- Support UAT testing, regression testing, and user training.
- Liaise with vendor teams (Silverlake) for patches, parameter updates, or system fixes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in core banking systems, preferably Silverlake SIBS.
- Strong knowledge of Deposits module in SIBS, including CASA and FD lifecycle.
- Experience with parameter table setup and configuration in Silverlake.
- Understanding of GL integration, transaction codes (TCs), and interest accrual mechanisms.
- Expertise in AS400 platform, and programming with RPG, COBOL400, SQL, and Query400.
