Key Responsibilities
1. AS400 / CACS / CMC Development
- Perform development, enhancement, and code fixes related to migration of the CMC and CACS applications to a new AS400 LPAR.
- Validate and ensure frontend (CICS) and backend components function
2. Support SIT, UAT, Build & Unit Testing
- Provide technical support during Build, Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT phases.
- Ensure both batch jobs and online screens continue functioning identically postmigration.
4. Environment & Access Setup
- Support AS400 environment setup, security access configuration and LPAR readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of AS400 development experience (RPG, COBOL, CL, DB2/400).
Deep understanding of:
- AS400 job control, batch cycles
- Endofday processing in collections systems
- CICS transaction flow
- LPAR set up - including set up of user profile creation, access control, CICS, ControlM, MQ,RSA, Connect Direct
- Exposure to migration/upgrade projects involving AS400 OS upgrades (preferably to latest versions).
