Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled AS400 Cobol developer with experience in Fitas and Tamic technologies to join our team. As an AS400 Cobol Fitas Tamic Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications on the AS400 platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using AS400 Cobol, Fitas, and Tamic technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and design solutions.
• Write efficient, well-structured, and documented code.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AS400 Cobol developer.
• Familiarity with Fitas and Tamic technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with other programming languages and platforms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of database systems such as DB2/400.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
