A local company specialising in artisanal gifts with a precision engineering environment, is looking for hands-on Artisans with experience in precision engineering to perform technical assembly, welding, polishing and operating milling/lathing machines. Flexi-Work arrangements are available.

Job Description:

  • Precision Crafting & Assembly: Perform meticulous hands-on work in the assembly, welding, polishing, and finishing of high-end bespoke gifts, including medals, jewelry, and luxury items, ensuring that each product meets the company's exacting standards of quality and design.
  • Machine Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain milling, lathe, and other precision engineering machinery used in the manufacturing of luxury goods. Regularly inspect, clean, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Collaborative Product Development: Work closely with the design and engineering teams to bring artistic visions to life, ensuring technical feasibility and artistic integrity in all products. Contribute insights during the prototyping phase, providing feedback on design and functionality improvements.
  • Customization & Personalization: Assist in custom designing or personalizing luxury gifts based on specific client requests, creating unique products that align with the company's standard of exclusivity and craftsmanship.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on products at each stage of the production process to ensure flawless finishes and precision. Address any defects or issues proactively to maintain the brand's reputation for superior quality.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute innovative ideas that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability in the manufacturing process.

Job Requirements:

  • O Levels, or equivalent secondary school education
  • 1 year of relevant factory experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing setting
  • Skilled in at least one of the following: welding, CNC assembly, carving/polishing, milling, or lathing
