As part of our recruiting team, you're charged with finding the most interesting candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit to all they do. You're responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the magic of working at Google. You are creative and driven, which allows you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.

Qualifications

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with executive Cloud leaders globally on securing technical hires in Asia-Pacific (APAC), moving beyond transactional recruiting to provide guidance on talent strategy, market insights, and team composition using data-motivated analysis.
  • Act as a talent detective, going beyond standard tools to identify and engage with technical talent across the APAC region, building pipelines for future needs.
  • Lead and navigate offer processes and compensation packages, ensure closing technical candidates in a engaging market.
  • Take full ownership of the entire recruiting lifecycle for the client groups, drive searches forward with personal accountability.
  • Adopt and experiment with AI-powered recruiting tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and focus the time on the human-centric elements of recruiting.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in recruiting.
  • 3 years of experience with hiring talent within the APAC region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in closing technical candidates and managing engaging offers, with the ability to negotiate.
  • Experience in client management and stakeholder management, including advising executive leaders on talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of market and talent pools across key countries (e.g., Singapore, China, Japan and Australia).
  • Ability to source and build pipelines for executive-level technical positions in a corporate or executive search environment.
  • Ability to manage credible conversations with executive researchers or engineers about Cloud technologies or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
