About KYDRA
KYDRA is a Singapore activewear brand. We design our own range, manufacture it ourselves and sell direct to our customers online. We have been building since 2018 and we are still small enough that the work you do is visible on the brand within the week.
About the Role
You will own how KYDRA looks. Every shoot begins with your direction and ends with your selects, and you will set the visual standard the rest of the brand works to, across product photography, social, campaigns and the website. You will work directly with both founders, in a team small enough that decisions get made in the room.
What You'll Do
- Define and maintain KYDRA's visual identity across all channels
- Turn our brand guidelines into a clear, practical shot list for every shoot
- Art-direct on set: styling, composition, framing, and the call on whether a shot works
- Select final images and give direction on the edit
- Plan the shoot calendar with the team, and liaise on dates, models, locations and which products are ready
- Review what we publish each month and keep the standard sharp
- Brief and work alongside our photographers and freelancers
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years art directing for consumer brands, in-house or agency
- A portfolio that shows a brand you shaped visually, not only individual images
- The ability to take a written brand guideline and produce a shoot plan from it
- Confidence directing lean, fast shoots as well as full campaign days
- A strong eye for styling, colour and composition, and the words to explain your choices
- Based in Singapore and able to be on set
Nice to Have
- Fashion, activewear, beauty or lifestyle experience
- Comfort directing video as well as stills
- Experience working directly with founders in a small team
Why Join Us
- Full ownership of the brand's visual direction, with no layers to work through
- A studio in our own office and a product range we control end to end
- Direct access to the founders and a short path from idea to shoot
- Room to grow the creative function as the business grows
