Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven Area Manager / Senior Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple outlets in Singapore.

This is a hands-on, operations-heavy leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, strong manpower control, and consistent execution of brand standards across all outlets.

You will play a key role in driving performance, developing outlet teams, and ensuring operational excellence aligned with HQ expectations.
Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Outlet Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across 5 outlets
  • Ensure all outlets meet brand SOPs, food quality, and service standards
  • Conduct regular outlet visits and audits

2. Manpower Planning & Control

  • Manage outlet staffing, scheduling, and deployment
  • Optimize manpower cost while maintaining service quality
  • Work closely with outlet managers on rostering and productivity

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Outlet Managers and Supervisors
  • Build a strong service culture and accountable team environment
  • Handle performance reviews, discipline, and staff retention

4. Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive outlet sales and profitability
  • Monitor KPIs (sales, food cost, labour cost, wastage)
  • Identify gaps and implement improvement strategies

5. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure consistency in food quality and customer experience
  • Troubleshoot operational issues across outlets
  • Maintain high standards in hygiene, safety, and compliance

6. HQ Liaison & Reporting

  • Align local operations with HQ expectations and standards
  • Prepare reports and provide updates on outlet performance
  • Execute HQ initiatives, campaigns, and menu rollouts

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years (Area Manager) or 5-8 years (Senior Area Manager) in multi-outlet F&B operations
  • Strong experience in casual dining / chain restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and teams simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of manpower planning, cost control, and operations
  • Hands-on, ground-oriented leader (not desk-bound)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work weekends and peak periods when required
