This is a 9-month contract position supporting the Greater India region across travel retail and domestic markets.

What you can expect from the role:

  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive and exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
  • A&P and Trade Opex Management: Manage and track A&P and Trade Opex spend within approved budgets, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and return on investment.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sell-in, sell-out, and stock data to optimize inventory and sales strategies.
  • Market Roadmap and Analysis: Evaluate market performance, new markets, channels, and POS to identify growth opportunities and risks. Translate regional and global strategies into commercial priorities and execution plans.
  • Retail Conversion: Implement initiatives to improve retail conversion and maximize sell-out performance.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop quarterly sales forecasts by product line and SKU. Review and validate business partner order submissions, providing justification for proposed quantities.
  • Revenue Planning: Develop and execute plans to achieve forecasted revenues, allocating among business partners by month and SKU.
  • Order Monitoring: Proactively monitor the order process to ensure regular placement by business partners and achievement of monthly forecasts. Support merchandise availability for counter opening and novelty launch days.
  • Monthly Business Meetings: Organize and manage meetings with partners to discuss business development and showcase new products.
  • Marketing Plan Execution: Implement and maintain the quality of marketing plans according to company strategies.
  • Trade Activities and Brand Events: Translate agreed priorities into action plans and align internal teams for consistent, timely, and effective execution of trade activities and brand events.
  • Business Partner Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with business partners, engaging key personnel for regular client visits and optimizing point-of-sale performance.
  • Negotiation: Partner with business partners to negotiate margins, pricing, payment terms, and new space opportunities.
  • Visual Merchandising: Monitor consistency and compliance of POS visual merchandising and store layouts, providing guidance and driving corrective actions.
  • Training and Coaching: Support the implementation of training initiatives and contribute to a quarterly coaching program for top door counters without Retail Supervisors, focusing on strengthening sales performance and client service.
  • Mystery Shopping Analysis: Select POS for Mystery Shopping Programs, review results, and define action plans for improvement in collaboration with business partners and the training team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to address issues related to products, shipments, pricing, and operational matters.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide monthly and accurate sales reporting.
  • Contract Negotiation: Support commercial discussions with business partners on contract renewals and revised terms. Act as the primary point of contact for pricing communication.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned.
