About the Opportunity
Our client is a high-growth international technology organisation with operations across Asia and the Middle East. As part of its continued global expansion, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead regional finance operations, international tax compliance, and group financial governance across multiple overseas entities.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role suited for an experienced finance professional who enjoys solving complex cross-border finance challenges, partnering with senior leadership, and driving finance standardisation across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional finance operations across Singapore, Indonesia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS).
- Drive international tax planning and compliance initiatives, including cross-border tax matters, transfer pricing, tax governance, and collaboration with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage group consolidation, overseas subsidiaries financial reporting, foreign currency accounting, and standardise finance policies and reporting processes across the organisation.
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis, budgeting, profitability analysis and strategic business insights to support executive decision-making and regional business growth.
- Partner closely with Finance leadership, business stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors and vendors to strengthen financial governance, operational efficiency and finance transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. CPA, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
- Around 8–15 years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to regional or international finance within multinational corporations or high-growth organisations.
- Proven experience managing finance across Southeast Asia, with exposure to Indonesia and/or Middle East markets highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in international tax, cross-border tax compliance, transfer pricing, financial reporting, group consolidation and finance governance.
- Experience supporting senior management and regional leadership with financial analysis, business partnering and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent English communication skills. Mandarin proficiency is advantageous as interviews and stakeholder communication may involve Chinese-speaking management.
