Architectural Site Engineer (Civil Large-Scale Project)

Role Overview
We are looking for a competent and experienced Architectural Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate architectural works on large-scale civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership on site, ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all architectural works on site, maintaining close oversight of quality, safety standards, and adherence to approved project plans and specifications

• Liaise with architects, designers, and relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring uninterrupted project progression

• Review, evaluate, and approve architectural submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation to verify compliance with design intent and project requirements

• Work collaboratively with the construction team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement practical solutions to enhance site efficiency and delivery outcomes

• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the site team, upholding workmanship standards and ensuring all works are completed to the highest quality benchmarks

• Ensure all site activities are carried out in strict compliance with relevant building codes, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety protocols

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate site records, progress documentation, and project reports throughout the construction lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institution

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer, with a preference for candidates with hands-on exposure to large-scale civil infrastructure or construction projects

• Strong grasp of architectural principles, construction methodologies, and applicable building codes and regulations

• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and reviewing architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation

• Experienced in managing architectural submittals, shop drawing reviews, and site quality control processes

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess technical challenges and implement effective solutions on site

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders

• Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines concurrently in a fast-paced site environment

• A collaborative and dependable team player who can also work independently with a high degree of initiative and accountability
