Job Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Supervise architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project quality standards and contract requirements.
- Monitor finishing works, architectural detailing, waterproofing, and interface coordination.
- Ensure works comply with relevant building codes, standards, and authority requirements.
2. Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on architectural matters.
- Identify and resolve site discrepancies, conflicts, and technical issues promptly.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements related to architectural works.
- Ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural, and M&E trades.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
- Assist in preparation of progress reports and quality records.
- Verify as-built drawings and ensure proper documentation prior to submission.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all works comply with contract specifications and statutory regulations.
- Support implementation of site safety procedures and ensure adherence to WSH standards.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on architectural progress and issues.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Building, Construction, or equivalent.
- BCA-Registered RTO (Architectural) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in architectural supervision experience in LTA/MRT or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, quality standards, and building codes.
- Able to interpret drawings, coordinate trade interfaces, and resolve site issues quickly.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with consultants and contractors.
