Job Summary
Lead architectural coordination and supervision to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications. Manage contractors and stakeholders to deliver quality construction outcomes on time, while maintaining BIM data and resolving interdisciplinary clashes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate design drawings with consultants to ensure compliance with relevant authorities and regulatory requirements.
- Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supervise architectural works and collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Manage contractors to ensure timely completion of works in accordance with approved details and specifications.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, materials, and mock-ups to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor site works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and interface coordination requirements.
- Plan, manage, and maintain BIM data according to project requirements to support design and construction coordination.
- Coordinate across Architectural, Structural, and M&E disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes effectively.
- Prepare and develop detailed drawings and documentation to support construction and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with construction drawings are met.
- Handle submissions and reviews of architectural materials, sample boards, trade demonstrations, and shop drawings with consultants to secure approvals.
Required competencies and certifications
- Master Degree in Architecture, Building, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant architectural experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction supervision and coordination for projects of similar scale and complexity.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in coordinating submissions to authorities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of architectural specifications and technical coordination requirements.
- Proficient in BIM coordination and drawing management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Good planning and organisational abilities with attention to detail.
