Architectural Manager (Institutional Project, A1 main contractor)

About the Company & Role

Our client is a well-established A1 building main contractor with a strong track record in delivering complex, large-scale developments in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to oversee architectural works for a major institutional project in the Changi East area, covering design coordination, authority compliance, construction quality, and interface management to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural works from design development through construction completion
• Coordinate architectural design, detailing, and interfaces with consultants and site teams
• Ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
• Manage RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and quality standards
• Resolve architectural and construction issues across façade, finishes, waterproofing, and interfaces
• Act as the main architectural coordination point for consultants, client representatives, and site teams
• Support programme control, variation management, and risk mitigation related to architectural works

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent professional registration is an advantage
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in large-scale institutional or complex building projects
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority submissions, and construction standards
• Proven experience managing architectural works on site and coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in AutoCAD BIM experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
