ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER

Responsibilities:
-Produce detailed, full-scale architectural plans, elevations, and structural details.

.Utilize software like AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketch Up to create 2D and 3D representations.

.Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning bylaws, and project specifications.

. Modify, update, and revise plans based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.

.Integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical designs into the architectural plans.

.Conduct site visits to measure and gather data to ensure accuracy of drawings.

.Prepare material specifications, cost estimates, and project documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

.Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Architecture certificate, associate degree, or technical training in drafting or computer-aided design.

.Working experience minimum 5 years related to construction.

.Ability to work in a team and communicate with contractors, clients, and consultants.

.High precision in drafting to prevent construction errors.

.Understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and codes.

. Expert knowledge of CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD).
