Job Description

Prepare architectural, civil, and structural drawings from design drafts
Create detailed layouts, elevations, sections, and construction documents
Apply mathematical calculations and construction principles for accuracy
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to gather requirements
Refine rough sketches into precise technical drawings
Coordinate designs to meet structural, functional, and regulatory requirements
Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and maintain digital drawing files with version control
Incorporate BIM (Building Information Modeling) when needed
Ensure drawings comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Update plans based on regulatory feedback or design changes
Maintain consistency in line weights, symbols, and drafting conventions
Prepare technical documentation for permits and approvals
Revise drawings based on client or engineer feedback
Conduct quality checks to minimize errors before construction
