Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and implement architectural site works by leading subcontractors and related trades to ensure safe and efficient project execution. Resolve technical issues on-site and collaborate with project managers and consultants to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate architectural site works with subcontractors and related trades to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Identify and resolve architectural problems arising on-site to maintain project progress and quality
- Organize and deploy resources and materials in collaboration with Project Manager and Site Manager to optimize site operations
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, material documentation, and other necessary approvals to consultants to facilitate project compliance
- Coordinate with subcontractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting architectural works
- Review construction programs and method statements to align site activities with project timelines and quality standards
- Prepare for and attend RTO inspections and site meetings to ensure regulatory compliance and stakeholder communication
- Monitor and supervise architectural site works, liaising with consultants to uphold design intent and construction quality
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety practices to promote a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural site works and construction coordination
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse project stakeholders
