Architectural Coordinator

Job Description:

1. Project & Technical Coordination

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all architectural finishing works on-site.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and structural/M&E overlay drawings to highlight discrepancies and resolve technical clashes prior to execution.

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants (Architect, C&S, M&E), and subcontractors to resolve site execution issues and prevent abortive works.

• Oversee shop drawing submissions, material samples, mock-up inspections, and technical method statements for timely approval.

2. CONQUAS Quality Management & ISO Compliance

• Assist and manage in site quality control measures to achieve targeted BCA CONQUAS scores and Quality Mark (QM) standards across all architectural trades.

• Ensure quality management processes on-site in strict compliance with ISO standards.

• Plan, conduct, and lead pre-CONQUAS joint inspections with sub-contractors, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action plans (CAPA) for audit readiness.

3. Site Supervision, Authority Compliance & Handover

• Supervise daily architectural site progress to ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

• Ensure all architectural works comply with Singapore local authority requirements (BCA, URA, SDF, LTA, etc.) and building codes.

• Support project closeout by coordinating as-built drawings, operations & maintenance manuals (OMM), and managing the Defects Liability Period (DLP) rectification process.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building or equivalent fields recognized by BCA.

• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Coordinator with a Main Contractor in Singapore.

• Technical & Standards Knowledge:

  • Hands-on experience with BCA CONQUAS assessment criteria and Quality Mark (QM) standards for architectural finishes.

  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Familiar with Singapore building codes and local authority submission standards.
