Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Liaise and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve conflicts and prevent abortive works.
- Collaborate with M&E and structural teams to address clashes and ensure seamless integration of building services.
- Review architectural drawings, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper execution onsite.
- Provide technical guidance on detailing, finishes, and material specifications.
- Manage architectural change requests, site instructions, and update records accordingly.
- Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to support smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and escalate issues or delays to the Project Manager with recommended solutions.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM exposure on projects valued at $100M and above.
- Strong knowledge of local authority requirements (e.g., BCA, SCDF, LTA).
- Proven ability to interpret construction drawings and resolve onsite technical issues.
- Proactive problem-solver and team player, able to work independently.
- Experience in major A&A works, underpinning, or conservation projects will be an advantage.
