Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor architectural works throughout design and construction stages to ensure timely project delivery
- Collaborate with Structural and M&E teams to provide technical direction on design and detail development for integrated project execution
- Review architectural designs from consultants and subcontractors against contractual and project specifications to ensure compliance
- Prepare, review, and monitor architectural work schedules aligned with the project master program and provide regular progress updates in coordination meetings
- Attend technical meetings to address architectural issues during design and construction phases
- Oversee site inspections and monitor work progress, variation orders, and certification of completed architectural works for assigned projects
- Ensure all architectural works by project teams and subcontractors comply with defined standards and drawings through site monitoring
- Provide technical support to construction and operation teams to resolve architectural design and construction challenges
- Review documented technical requirements and project plans to verify adherence to standards
- Facilitate smooth interactions with Clients, Supervising Officers, Government agencies, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve design and construction issues
- Report to Design Manager/Construction Manager on material follow-ups and shop drawing preparations from consultants and subcontractors
- Prepare architectural reviews and submissions for clients
- Provide architectural input to the Project Management Team on all related matters
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity in the local context
- Ability to ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and interface details with SWCs works as per CCSM and Reflected Ceiling Plans
- Experience with LTA projects is preferable
