The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a leading multinational organisation with a strong global presence to appoint a Commercial& AR Financial Accountant for its Singapore-based finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will support APAC business performance through a combination of commercial finance, credit management, accounts receivable, working capital analysis and financial reporting.
- The position acts as a key bridge between Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations, providing financial insights to support business decisions while maintaining strong financial controls.
The Responsibilities
- Support Sales in the financial evaluation of customer contracts and commercial proposals, including pricing, rebates, payment terms and their financial implications.
- Monitor customer profitability and gross margin trends and support business cases for new customers and projects.
- Partner with Sales on pricing and marginimprovement initiatives.
- Supervise the Accounts Receivable Executive inday-to-day operations.
- Review customer credit applications andrecommend appropriate credit limits based on financial analysis.
- Monitor customer credit exposure, AR ageing and collection activities.
- Prepare DSO and collection dashboards andsupport monthly Working Capital Review meetings.
- Perform month-end accounting activities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition and intercompany reconciliations.
- Support monthly management reporting, audit schedules, foreign currency translation and validation of reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries.
- Review commercial terms from a finance perspective and ensure appropriate Finance approval prior to contract execution.
- Support monitoring of pricing validity and rebate agreements.
- Contribute to reporting automation, ERP enhancements, process improvements and Finance digitalisation initiatives.
The Talent
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting.
- Strong technical and commercial finance knowledge, with exposure to credit risk analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems - Oracle experience is preferred.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with Sales and Operations teams.
