Little Splashes Aquatics offers swimming lessons for infants from 3 months and older. We provide small-group, 30-minute lessons in an indoor heated mineral water pool, focusing on water confidence, safety, and survival skills.
Job Summary
Our swim teacher's main role is to teach water confidence, safety, and survival skills to students of all ages, from babies to adults, while ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach water confidence and water safety skills to babies, toddlers, children, and adults
- Support students in overcoming fear of water through patient and encouraging instruction
- Instruct swimming techniques and survival skills tailored to each student's age and ability
- Monitor and maintain safety standards at all times during lessons
- Assess and evaluate student progress every term to guide learning plans
- Perform administrative tasks and provide customer service to students and parents
- Commit to a 24-month employment period starting from training commencement
- Work full-time including compulsory weekends and most public holidays
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Open to candidates without prior swim teaching certification or training
- Will receive company-paid training and international certification during employment
- Obtain six local/international relevant licenses/certificates upon training completion, paid by the company
- Receive salary during the training period
- Ability to sing nursery rhymes during lessons
- Demonstrate patience, cheerfulness, and a bubbly personality
- Maintain a positive attitude and build good relationships with students and parents
- Show passion and care for babies, toddlers, and children
- Respond effectively in emergencies and adapt to flexible working hours
