What You'll Do
- Lead Advanced Quality Planning (AQP/APQP) and
- Develop and execute Quality Plans, ensuring customer quality requirements are achieved throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Facilitate DFMEA/PFMEA, risk assessments, and design/process reviews to identify and mitigate quality risks.
- Drive product qualification activities, including First-Off Tool (FOT), process validation, MSA (GR&R), capability studies, and statistical analysis.
- Support Safe Launch, process audits, and ensure compliance with control plans and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to resolve quality issues using 8D, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of AQP/APQP or Quality Engineering experience in an NPI or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and product/process qualification.
- Good understanding of GD&T, metrology, MSA (GR&R), capability studies, and Minitab.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
