Our client is building the next generation of AI-native financial services, leveraging large language models, intelligent automation, and agentic AI to transform how customers interact with banking and financial products.

As part of a high-calibre engineering team, you will design and build production-grade AI systems that automate complex workflows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver intelligent user experiences across a modern digital financial platform.

This is an execution-focused engineering role suited for individuals who enjoy building scalable AI products rather than conducting research alone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI-native applications, autonomous agents, and intelligent workflow automation solutions.
• Build production-ready LLM-powered systems using technologies such as RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering, evaluations, and guardrails.
• Develop AI-driven capabilities across customer onboarding, KYC, fraud detection, customer support, CRM, operations, document processing, and internal productivity.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Business teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities.
• Design reliable AI systems with careful consideration for latency, scalability, security, compliance, cost efficiency and user trust.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate and improve AI model performance in production environments.
• Convert manual operational processes into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines for AI applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building production systems.
• Experience developing AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, automation frameworks, prompt engineering, and tool integration.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript or similar modern languages.
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Good understanding of software testing, system reliability and production monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a pragmatic approach to applying AI in real-world scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within FinTech, Banking, Digital Payments, InsurTech or Financial Services.
• Exposure to KYC, AML, fraud detection, risk management, CRM automation or operational workflow automation.
• Experience deploying AI solutions using cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with vector databases, orchestration frameworks and AI evaluation methodologies.
