Applications Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

. Provide application engineering support to meet customer‑required performance of Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscopes (CD‑SEM), including the development of measurement recipes and optimization of measurement conditions.

. Analyze and summarize results obtained from application support activities and report findings to customers.

. Support customer in creating and optimizing the CD-SEM recipes to be used at customer site.

. Examine solutions for measurement challenges in cutting-edge semiconductor devices, and propose optimized conditions, additional tool adjustments, and new applications approaches.

. Investigate the root cause of any measurement issues on the CD-SEM and implement countermeasures in collaboration with related departments mainly located in Japan.

Requirements:
. Possess over 5-7 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer specializing in Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscopes (CD‑SEM).

. Comfortable working with problem-based situation, equipped with problem solving skills and capable of handling sudden situations.

. Comfortable working in cleanroom environment when needed

. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
. Willing and able to travel frequently, including on short notice, to support customer sites and business requirements.
