Job Description

TEKsystems is hiring an Application & Technology Risk Specialist to support critical technology initiatives across a global banking organization.

This role focused on application governance & vulnerability management across business-critical enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology teams to support risk, governance, and control activities across enterprise applications
  • Coordinate and track remediation activities relating to technology, security, and operational issues
  • Support system lifecycle initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities
  • Maintain governance documentation, risk logs, status reporting, and supporting artefacts
  • Monitor progress of identified issues and ensure appropriate follow-up with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare updates and reporting materials for management and governance forums
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support risk management and compliance objectives
  • Support application governance, audit, and change-related initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in application governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, production support, application support, release management, project delivery, or related technology functions
  • Experience working within financial services, banking, or other regulated enterprise environments
  • Exposure to vulnerability management, risk remediation, audit, governance, control processes, or technology lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with enterprise application environments and software delivery lifecycles
  • Understanding of application infrastructure and enterprise technology platforms (e.g. middleware, databases, Unix/Linux environments, cloud or containerized platforms)
  • Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, engineering, or security teams to support issue remediation and change initiatives
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting technology transformation, modernization, migration, or lifecycle management initiatives is advantageous
