Application Support Engineer
We're looking for a hands-on Application Support Engineer to support critical digital platforms across web, mobile, and kiosk environments.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys deep troubleshooting and takes ownership of production issues, rather than just routing tickets.
What you'll be doing
- Own and resolve production incidents end to end, ensuring timely service restoration
- Perform deep troubleshooting across applications, Azure cloud services, and AEM environments
- Analyse logs to identify root causes and implement long term fixes
- Troubleshoot Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, and networking issues
- Support AEM production issues including publish instances, dispatcher cache, and content errors
- Investigate API failures, database connectivity, and performance bottlenecks
- Execute SQL queries and stored procedures for validation and debugging
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, vendors, and security teams to resolve issues
- Drive preventive actions and continuous improvements to reduce recurring incidents
What we're looking for
- Experience in application support within a production environment
- Hands on experience troubleshooting Azure services
- Exposure to or experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager AEM
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Familiarity with APIs, web applications, and system integrations
- Understanding of security concepts such as certificates, secrets, and access control
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience in high traffic or customer facing digital platforms
- Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools
- Experience working in fast paced or high pressure environments
