Job Summary

Provide functional and technical support by translating business needs into technical solutions, troubleshooting applications, optimizing data queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications to guide development and enhancements
• Analyze and design solutions for new system enhancements and improvements to existing functionalities
• Perform data mining and testing to validate that enhancements and functionalities meet business objectives
• Collaborate with project leads, users, and developers to identify process inefficiencies and implement functional improvements
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Java applications post-implementation to ensure system stability and performance
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support accurate reporting and data analysis for business insights
• Provide technical support to client project leads and users by diagnosing and resolving system issues promptly
• Identify and resolve technical problems related to Java/Cobol applications and SQL databases to minimize downtime
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend actionable improvements to enhance system efficiency
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery
• Drive system improvements and contribute to process automation initiatives to increase operational productivity

Skills and Requirements:
. Experience with Java programming
. Experience with SQL databases and query writing.
. Willing to learn Cobol programming
. Good functional business analysis skills and attention to detail.
. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
. Strong and good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams such as Client Project Leads and Users.
. A team player who is eager to learn and grow.
. Experience with Enterprise Java-related backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
. Experience with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.
. Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA and Excel Macros.

. 1 year of experience working with Java and SQL.

. 1 year in BAU

. 1 years of experience in Implementation (SDLC) and Change Request Related.

. 1 years of experience in Operation/BAU Support.

. Experience in technical support or a similar role is a plus
