Job Summary
Provide expert application support by troubleshooting batch issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring service level indicators (SLIs) to maintain operational stability and support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve batch processing issues to minimize SLA impacts and maintain system reliability
- Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver operational support to ensure applications meet defined service level indicators (SLIs)
- Proactively identify and implement preventive maintenance measures to reduce incidents
- Respond promptly to queries from various business units to support their operational needs
- Communicate timely updates on status, progress, issues, and resolutions to business stakeholders
- Participate actively in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises to ensure preparedness
- Utilize strong SQL and Unix shell scripting skills to support data analysis and automation tasks
- Apply knowledge of Teradata or Hadoop environments to support data processing and troubleshooting
- Use job scheduling tools effectively to monitor and manage batch jobs and workflows
