Job Description

  • Analyze, design, and enhance legacy application systems to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability
  • Develop, test, and implement programs and system enhancements using RPG / RPGLE on IBM AS400/System i
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for in-house systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software bugs or system failures
  • Work closely with internal departments to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Assist in system migration or integration projects when required
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and technical guides
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide post-implementation support
  • Perform data analysis and reporting tasks as requested by stakeholders
  • Ensure systems are compliant with internal IT policies and audit standards

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Studies or equivalent
  • 23 years of hands-on programming experience in RPG/RPGLE on IBM AS400/System i environment
  • Experience in Lotus Notes, .NET, Java, or other web application tools is a plus
