Position Overview
Keyrus is seeking a high-ownership Application Production Specialist to oversee and evolve the Enterprise Output Management (OMS) and Printing platforms for a leading global wealth management outsourcing partner.
As the primary point of contact in the Singapore region, you will industrialize production operations—including deployments, run, and L2/L3 support—to ensure the absolute availability, security, and performance of critical document distribution and printing services in a strictly regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Operations: Manage the full OMS stack, including composition, spooling, queuing, and digital distribution. Ensure seamless integration with upstream banking applications and downstream archiving (ECM) systems.
- Modernization: Drive the roadmap for containerizing supporting services. Build and operate Docker images/containers and manage related CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
- Security & Resilience: Define standards for image hardening and configuration management. Lead DR/BCP simulations, validate backups, and maintain comprehensive SOPs/runbooks.
- System Evolution: Proactively identify bottlenecks in the printing and distribution lifecycle. Propose and implement improvements for reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Global Collaboration: Act as the independent Singapore-based lead, coordinating closely with global teams in Switzerland to ensure 24/7 operational excellence.
Technical Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in Output Management, Printing, or Production Engineering within a regulated financial services environment.
- OMS/Printing Expertise:
- Hands-on administration of Report Distribution Systems or Print Spoolers (e.g., Rocket EOS, Macro 4 Columbus OM, or Quadient Inspire).
- Deep understanding of print stream formats (PDF, PCL/PostScript, VIPP).
- Technical Stack:
- OS: Solid Linux/UNIX and Windows Server administration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Bash and Perl is required; Python or PowerShell is a plus.
- Data & Middleware: SQL (DB2, Oracle, or Postgres), Certificates/TLS, and Java-based application servers.
- Monitoring: Experience with Splunk (dashboards and alerting).
Nice to Have:
- Background in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) (e.g., IBM Content Manager, FileNet, OpenText).
- Experience with release automation tools like Ansible, XL Deploy, or XL Release.
