Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Management Services Assistant Lead to oversee the ongoing support, stability, and enhancement of large-scale applications. This includes web applications, APIs, Windows services, console applications hosted on Windows servers, as well as React applications and microservices hosted in Azure (GCC).
This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and clearly explain issues, root causes, and resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for system changes, enhancements, and integrations
- Maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs)
- Communicate technical issues, root causes, and resolutions in clear, non-technical language
Application Maintenance & Support
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of web applications, APIs, Windows services, and microservices
- Coordinate bug triage, issue resolution, and system monitoring
- Ensure applications remain stable, secure, and performant
- Lead and manage application and support team
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes
Workflow & Integration Management
- Understand complex workflows and system integrations, including field-end device interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms
Database Oversight
- Work with MSSQL Server and Azure SQL Server for troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Review and validate complex SQL queries developed by engineering teams
Deployment & Configuration
- Manage and document deployment procedures for applications hosted on Windows Servers (IIS) and Azure
- Ensure smooth release cycles, including rollback strategies when required
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Oversee recursive testing to validate workflows, integrations, and bug fixes
- Ensure testing processes align with business requirements and compliance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
-.NET applications (web, APIs, Windows services, console apps)
-React applications
-Microservices architecture in Azure (GCC)
- Experience with MSSQL Server and Azure SQL Server
- Ability to analyze and clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with application deployment in IIS and Azure environments
- Familiarity with recursive testing methodologies
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with effective prioritization and multitasking skills
- Leadership and team management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in incident management and root cause analysis
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
