about the role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for MathWorks products, with a strong focus on power electronics control design and/or power systems analysis and design.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the collaborative field-team to support pre-sales and post-sales activities towards the primary objectives of improving the awareness and adoption of MathWorks products. You will be an expert in your products and the applications that your products support. You will support product queries, demonstrations, and troubleshooting with customers and prospects. You will also conduct webinars, workshops, and external trainings.

Skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of professional work experience in a relevant industry
• Experience with MATLAB and/or strong knowledge of analytics software (such as Python, R).
• Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
