Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Automating design processes in SolidWorks using DriveWorks Pro.
• Maintaining rules-based logic, forms and templates within the DriveWorks environment.
• Collaborating with various departments to integrate product data and streamline workflows.
• Troubleshooting and refining automation rules and ensuring models and outputs meet quality standards.
• Implementation of CAD customisation and PDM Workflows to automate the manual tasks using workflow.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot the issue related to DriveWorks, CAD and PDM applications.
• Technical documentation of PDM implementation, APIs and other CAD related systems.
• Conduct SolidWorks, DriveWorks or PDM user trainings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with CAD Software such as SolidWorks or similar CAD applications.
• Experience with DriveWorks or SolidWorks will be beneficial.
• Experienced in advanced Excel functions such as IF, VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc.
• Knowledge of engineering design and development processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies to adapt to the changes in environment.
