This role involves upgrading and extending an existing umpire assessment system for a sports federation, focusing on automating and streamlining processes within Google Workspace. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the current Google Forms and Sheets setup, introducing new automation features, and ensuring seamless data management and integrity. The project aims to reduce manual intervention, improve efficiency, and provide a more robust assessment workflow for multiple users.
Deliverables
- Implement automated emailing of PDF assessments to recipients based on lookup tables.
- Organize assessment records into monthly folders within Google Drive.
- Enhance search and display functionality for completed assessments.
- Enable multi-user access with appropriate permissions and change logs.
- (Optional) Add a print button and simplify record modification processes.
- Ensure all solutions maintain data integrity and compatibility with Google Workspace.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Google Apps Script.
- Strong experience automating workflows within Google Workspace.
- Ability to design and implement lookup tables and automated email notifications.
- Familiarity with Google Drive folder organization and permissions management.
- Experience with multi-user systems, access control, and change tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
