Application Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Engage clients to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements

Provide expert consultation on software and application solutions

Design solution architecture aligned with client and organisational needs

Configure, customise, and implement software applications

Conduct system integration, testing, and user acceptance support

Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and user guides

Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimisation

Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery milestones

Support upgrades, patches, and system enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

3-8 years of experience in software/application consulting or implementation

Strong understanding of application architecture and system integration

Hands-on experience with:

Enterprise applications / web-based systems

REST APIs, middleware, and integration tools

Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL)

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and client-facing skills

Technical Skill Set (Any of the Following)

Programming / scripting: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript

Frameworks & platforms: Spring Boot, .NET, Django, Angular, React

Application servers & OS: Linux, Windows

Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

Version control: Git
