MetaComp Pte Ltd is a leading Singapore-based digital payment solution provider, licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution, to provide Digital Payment Token Services and Cross-border Payment Transfers. (a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

About the Role: Backbone is our core infrastructure product that connects payment service providers to internal systems, supporting payments, FX, and settlement workflows. The API Product Manager will oversee API integration and service provider relationships, ensuring business needs are delivered efficiently and reliably. This role serves as a bridge between internal teams and external partners, driving seamless service delivery, operational workflows, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end management of Backbone API integrations, including testing, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Manage relationships with external service provider technical teams to ensure efficient collaboration, obtain necessary support, fully understand API specifications, advocate for effective integration, verify that all testing requirements are met, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are fulfilled.
  • Understand internal operational workflows and collaborate with product teams to align requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between product and development teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Define, prioritize, and communicate API requirements and integration needs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman, Apifox, or other API testing tools; identify issues and ensure robust integration.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to map service provider requirements to internal workflows.
  • Monitor API performance, service-level agreements, and operational processes; proactively address gaps or risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and product enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or technology project management.
  • Strong experience in API management and testing tools such as Postman or Apifox.
  • Excellent coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
