We Are Seeking: API Connectivity Reliability Engineer

This is a technical and operational role where you&aposll be responsible for the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the bank&aposs API Connect and DataPower infrastructure. You&aposll work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and secure connectivity across systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving deep infrastructure challenges, automating processes, and driving incident resolution with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and support IBM API Connect and DataPower systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across APIs, security layers, and network components
• Automate deployments using CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Ansible
• Lead incident recovery and root cause analysis for production issues
• Collaborate with development teams to build self-healing, observable systems
• Support application releases and ensure smooth production deployments
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and operational best practices

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise with IBM API Connect and DataPower
• Familiarity with API Connect analytics and operational dashboards
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and network troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Bitbucket, Ansible)
• Understanding of PKI, TLS, and certificate lifecycle management
