Role: APAC Trade Compliance

Client: Consumer Goods

Location: Hong Kong (open to candidates from overseas)

This is an individual contributor subject matter expert role that sits as part of a small compliance team.

Responsibilities:

• Point of contact for trade compliance across the APAC region
• Keep abreast of changes in customs regulations and conduct gap analysis / remedial action to ensure that the firm is meeting regulatory expectations
• Support new business / projects and provide advisory to stakeholders across the region

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of trade compliance experience from either industry or consultancy
• Sound experience in APAC customs regulations, import/export requirements, product classification, duty drawback, custom audit and relevant systems knowledge
• Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders in the APAC region and strong stakeholder management skills
