Our client, a leading global technology organization, is seeking an experienced APAC Social Media Marketing Specialist responsible for leading regional social media strategy, creator and influencer marketing, content planning, and cross-functional campaign execution to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand impact across multiple markets.
This is a contract role ending on 22 Feb 2027.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute social marketing campaigns across APAC markets to drive brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
- Develop and manage social media content strategies, editorial calendars, and content plans across key platforms.
- Partner with local market teams to deliver impactful campaigns around product launches, creator initiatives, artist programs, and cultural moments.
- Plan and execute influencer and creator marketing programs, including agency and partner management.
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Go-To-Market, and Creative teams to align campaigns with business objectives.
- Manage external agencies, content creators, and vendors to ensure high-quality campaign execution.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze social insights, and recommend optimizations to improve results.
- Identify emerging social trends, platform opportunities, and audience behaviors to strengthen marketing effectiveness.
- Track and report on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and overall marketing impact.
- Support the development of innovative social content and marketing initiatives that enhance brand presence across the region.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in social marketing, digital marketing, or integrated marketing, with a strong track record of managing large-scale regional campaigns across APAC.
- Expertise in media planning, social media marketing, content strategy, brand management, and marketing communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with external agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong project and campaign management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and budgets simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing technology platforms, with the ability to leverage data for campaign optimization and business decision-making.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking to drive business outcomes.
