As an APAC Regulatory AI Enablement & Settlement Transformation Lead in Commercial & Investment Bank Market Operations, you will drive modernization and strategic value across a global organization. You will lead transformation initiatives, integrate artificial intelligence and automation, and partner with teams across operations, technology, and compliance. You will play a key role in reducing risk, improving control frameworks, and delivering efficiency savings. You will lead the Japan Regulatory Reporting team and coordinate settlement system transformation across Asia Pacific. Your role involves designing technical solutions, developing business cases, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Job responsibilities
.Drive transformation of regulatory reporting using artificial intelligence across Asia Pacific
.Integrate automation and artificial intelligence into daily operational processes, aligning with global strategy
.Develop regulatory use cases, control patterns, and delivery methodologies for complex markets
.Reduce regulatory and execution risk by embedding expertise into transformation initiatives
.Partner with technology and artificial intelligence teams to align delivery with regional platforms and standards
.Execute projects to deliver efficiency savings, oversee return on investment tracking, and ensure outcomes meet objectives
.Lead the Japan Regulatory Reporting team and serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory interpretation
.Coordinate settlement system transformation initiatives impacting regulatory processes and controls
.Design solutions by understanding market products, trading, and operational processes
.Ensure integration with technical platforms and compliance with operational responsibilities
.Develop and maintain technical solution design documents and business cases

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
.Bachelor's degree
.Minimum 15 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, with experience in market operations or post-trade operations and regulatory reporting
.Demonstrated ownership of complex regulatory deliverables and control frameworks
.Proven track record in driving transformation initiatives across teams and stakeholders
.Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to partner effectively across operations, technology, and regional stakeholders
.Experience communicating complex change impacts to senior audiences
.Ability to deliver outcomes under tight timelines and evolving requirements
.Strong storytelling skills to explain complex solutions to senior stakeholders
.Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPTN1 and above) is required to work with Japanese regulators and clearing houses

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
.Experience scaling regulatory reporting transformation across multiple markets using a hub-and-spoke approach
.Experience partnering with technology and artificial intelligence teams on controls, methodology standardization, and evidence tracking
.Familiarity with settlement platform modernization programs and their impact on operating models and regulatory requirements
.Experience in designing and delivering technical solutions for complex market products
.Ability to develop and maintain business cases for investment in transformation initiatives
.Experience building and managing relationships with global and external partners
