Job Title: APAC Regional Security Leader
Location: Within commuting distance to a Collins Aerospace facility in the APAC region
Travel Requirement: Up to 40% regional travel
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced regional security professional to oversee and manage security operations across the APAC (Asia Pacific Countries). This role is critical to ensure the protection of our people, assets, operations, and reputation. The successful candidate will manage various security disciplines, such as physical security, incident response, risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and business continuity efforts across multiple countries and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security strategies aligned with global policies and tailored to the regional risk landscape.
- Work and collaborate with the technical and physical security Centers of Excellence (COE's) to ensure physical and security systems are operating efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with the Physical & Technical COE's to align on design, installation, and maintenance of physical security systems across sites. Manage access control, CCTV, visitor management, and alarm response procedures.
- Conduct regular threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments. Develop mitigation plans and monitor emerging regional threats (e.g., geopolitical, terrorism, natural disasters).
- Work and align with the Businesses Resilience & Crisis Management COE Lead in coordinating response efforts during security incidents, including investigations, reporting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Work and align efforts with the Physical Security COE to manage third-party security vendors, contracts, and on-site personnel across multiple countries. Ensure quality, compliance, and performance.
- If needed by the Executive Protection COE, provide travel security support for VIPs and high-risk travel. Collaborate with global security partners on protective operations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations concerning security and data privacy. Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate and work with the Training COE to deliver security awareness programs for employees. Conduct emergency drills and ensure all sites have up-to-date security and evacuation plans.
- Partner with HR, Legal, IT Security, Facilities, and regional leadership to build an integrated security culture.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Must possess the highest level of integrity and moral character
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate/regional security role with multi-country responsibility with a total experience of 12+ years.
- Prior experience managing a budget and supervising teams with more than 5 employees
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, crisis management, and risk mitigation practices.
- Experience working with cross-border teams and cultures across APAC.
- Familiarity with international security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ASIS, BS 7858).
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 40%.

- PSP (Physical Security Professional)
- Security Clearance from the nation you are a citizen
- First Aid / Emergency Response Training
Education:
Required Education: B.A./B.S- Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or related field (Master's preferred) and 12 years related work experience.
