We are looking for an APAC Regional Sales Manager for our international client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the regional sales organization in Asia Pacific, ensuring achievement of sales targets and sustainable revenue growth in coordination with local subsidiaries and product leadership.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for selected target markets and strategic industries.
- Define and implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with global product strategies, contributing to the continuous improvement of company structure, processes and governance.
- Drive new business acquisition and market expansion, with strong focus on prospecting and development of strategic customers.
- Improve profitability and margins while ensuring operational efficiency across the region.
- Ensure consistent and effective use of CRM and forecasting tools to share market intelligence, customer needs and demand planning with product teams and manufacturing sites.
- Develop and strengthen regional sales channels, including distribution networks and system integrators, in alignment with local market requirements.
- Establish, monitor and continuously refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote accountability, transparency and performance excellence.
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to support rapid introduction of new products and customer-specific solutions.
- Build, lead and retain multi-country sales and marketing teams, fostering leadership development and succession planning across the region.
- Assume overall responsibility for sales leadership across multiple legal entities in Asia Pacific.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; an MBA or advanced business qualification is considered a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in B2B sales of industrial automation or electrical components, serving OEMs, distributors and system integrators in the Asia Pacific region.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and developing key OEM customers within strategic industrial segments.
- Strong understanding of regional sales channels, particularly distribution and system integrators.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, with a results-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
- Deep awareness of cultural and business dynamics in Asia Pacific, especially in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and India.
- Entrepreneurial, energetic and growth-oriented personality with a strong sense of ownership.
- Collaborative leader able to operate effectively across global, cross-functional and multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Asia Pacific region.
