We are looking for an experienced APAC Regional Product Manager to drive the regional strategy and delivery of the Insurance based product suite. Working closely with the Global Product Manager and cross-functional teams, you will own the APAC product roadmap, represent regional customer needs, and ensure successful product adoption across the region. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong insurance domain expertise, product management experience, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions in an AI-first, SAFe® Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the APAC product roadmap, aligning regional priorities with the global product strategy.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to gather requirements, prioritise product enhancements, and drive continuous product improvement.
- Act as the regional product expert, representing APAC requirements in global roadmap planning.
- Partner with Engineering, Delivery, and Implementation teams to deliver scalable, configurable insurance solutions while promoting a product-first, adopt-not-adapt approach.
- Support the design and configuration of insurance products, including benefits, underwriting, pricing, policy lifecycle events, and product features.
- Provide functional guidance throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring product quality, governance, and consistent adoption across implementations.
- Support strategic customer engagements by providing product expertise, participating in solution discussions, product demonstrations, and pre-sales activities.
- Collaborate with global Product Management, Engineering, and regional teams to successfully deliver product initiatives across multiple time zones.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of Product Management experience within Insurance Software, Policy Administration Systems (PAS), or Enterprise Software solutions, with APAC regional exposure.
- Strong experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritisation, and Agile product delivery.
- Good understanding of Life, Group, Protection, Annuities, and/or Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including product configuration and policy lifecycle processes.
- Experience with leading insurance PAS platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe®, Jira, Confluence, APIs, system integrations, and enterprise software delivery.
- Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with global teams and supporting customer-facing product discussions or pre-sales activities is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- APAC regional product management experience.
- Experience collaborating with UK or global product teams.
- Pre-sales, solution consulting, or product demonstration experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise insurance platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, AI-first product environment.
