The Opportunity:
We are partnering with a global engineering and manufacturing organisation that specialises in high‑performance polymer sealing systems used in demanding industrial and technology‑driven environments. The organisation is engineering‑led, with strong in‑house capabilities spanning materials development, advanced manufacturing processes, and applied R&D, supporting customers across diversified industrial sectors worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to work on manufacturing technology and process‑driven projects, contributing to innovation, standardisation, and operational excellence across regional and global production sites. It is well suited for engineers or project professionals who are motivated by technical depth, continuous improvement, and scalable manufacturing solutions.
The Job:
- Manage manufacturing technology projects from concept to production handover
- Develop, implement, and standardise manufacturing processes and technical standards
- Identify and introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency and quality
- Support tooling, product, and process design using simulation and engineering analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers
- Standardise technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge‑sharing practices
- Travel to manufacturing sites for project execution and on‑site support
The Talent:
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
- More than 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with strong product and engineering knowledge in
- Raw Material - plastics, elastomers and polymers and
- Sealing Application
- Strong project management and process development experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across regions
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools is an advantage
- Willing to travel within APAC
- The position could be hired in any APAC country
