This role of APAC Marketing Director will act as the bridge between strategy and delivery of marketing activity. This is an important role working closely with senior marketing staff and business teams to support the growth aspirations of Gallagher Re, focusing on growth and development in the APAC region.
The Marketing Manager delivers marketing that drives engagement with customers, generates leads, and helps to deliver our brand vision and framework. The Marketing Director is a natural collaborator, driven individual with experience handling multiple projects and priorities at one time and will understand how to brief in a succinct yet impactful way to get results.

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the APAC region, aligned with Gallagher's global objectives and tailored to regional market needs.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on marketing opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives are grounded in a deep understanding of business goals, customer needs, and industry dynamics.
Marketing Execution
- Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Continuously evaluate marketing activities against KPIs, providing clear reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Champion innovation by testing and implementing new marketing approaches, tools, and technologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, sales teams, and global marketing colleagues.
- Act as a trusted partner to the business, ensuring marketing initiatives align with divisional objectives and customer needs.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and media partners to deliver impactful marketing outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor more junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Support team members in prioritizing workloads and overcoming challenges, while maintaining high standards of delivery.
Operational Excellence
- Apply best practices in project and campaign management to ensure efficient and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in the regulatory and legal environment, ensuring all marketing activities comply with applicable laws and corporate policies.
- Champion Gallagher's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing materials and activities.
- Leverage marketing platforms, including Salesforce.com, to track and optimize campaign performance.
Requirements
Experience
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for experience in financial services or the insurance sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a regulated environment.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and achieving associated KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and third-party agencies.
- Familiarity with the APAC market and its unique cultural, regulatory, and business dynamics.
