Role and Responsibilities:
Supports all legal business matters pertaining to the APAC region,
Dedicated first line legal support to affiliates together with second line regional responsibilities,
Act as a strategic business partner to our regional team of experts from APAC Dia Region and work closely with RDS, RIS and DDP teams.
You will act as a legal business partner to the Singapore Domestic Affiliate and other affiliates in the APAC region and support those teams in all legal matters. You will be part of a APAC Legal network of legal professionals and will also collaborate closely with other legal teams in Roche Diagnostics on overarching projects and topics in the field of Legal Diagnostics,
Leads a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients and APAC Legal Network,
Acts as an advisor on legal issues involving the organization's government and regulatory compliance
Reviews legal data and advises organizations on appropriate legal action to be taken,
Leads and monitors the legal matters handled by outside counsels and ensures the legal panel is updated based on the needs of the regional organization,
Advises and supports on general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance and organization, drafting transactional documents, digital product license terms and conditions, commercial law, employment law, intellectual property and digital law, data privacy, competition law, contract management and dispute resolution,
Active contribution to APAC Legal Network and CoPs,
Leads the required legal trainings for the APAC region and affiliate employees,
Privacy officer for RDAP and Singapore Domestic Affiliate,
Develop and implement legal strategies and data privacy policies for Roche Diagnostics businesses in collaboration with global and regional leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Requires a law degree and license to practice law,
5 years or more experience preferably in a Pharma and/or MedTech Company with a proven track record,
Experience in agile ways of working and methodologies
Co-active coaching fundamentals or similar certification
Savvy in leveraging technology to enable virtual teams
Strong emotional intelligence. Able to establish caring connections and be a team player.

Ability to manage complexity, a VUCA environment, while knowing how to enable simplification
