Job Description

About the Client:

Our client is a fast-growing AI platform at the forefront of the AI workforce evolution — enabling enterprises to deploy intelligent agents that automate workflows across sales, operations, and knowledge functions. Backed by strong technical capabilities and early commercial traction, the business is now scaling across APAC, with a clear ambition to build a category-defining enterprise platform. They are now seeking a Head of Sales to lead the build-out of their regional B2B sales organisation, drive enterprise client acquisition, and establish a scalable, repeatable revenue engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Build-Out (0→1): Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end enterprise sales process (lead → opportunity → proposal → contract → delivery), establishing clear stage gates, conversion metrics, and pipeline discipline.
  • Enterprise Client Acquisition: Drive the origination and closure of flagship accounts across priority sectors including financial services, retail, and cross-border e-commerce.
  • Team Leadership & Scaling: Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing sales team — setting clear targets, tracking pipeline performance, and coaching towards consistent execution.
  • Solution Selling & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with pre-sales consultants and product teams to develop tailored, high-impact client solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Client Ownership & Revenue Expansion: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, driving renewals, upsell, and expansion of product usage across the client base.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: Provide structured feedback on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends to inform product development and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record in enterprise SaaS / cloud / technology sales
  • Demonstrated experience building a sales function from 0 to 1, including process design and team build-out
  • Experience covering the Greater China market, given the client base and revenue focus in this region, is highly preferred
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to independently originate and close enterprise deals
  • Data-driven approach to managing pipeline, forecasting, and conversion metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities
  • Exposure to AI / LLM / automation / RPA solutions is a plus
  • Existing enterprise client network at regional level
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling in emerging technology environments
