APAC Digital Innovation Lead, Energy Trading

Responsibilities
You will get to shape and execute the APAC digital innovation agenda for a globally recognised trading house operating across energy, logistics, and physical commodities. Leading a regional team of specialist technologists and innovation professionals, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations to translate advanced analytics and AI into tangible competitive advantage. You will have ownership of several flagship platforms spanning market intelligence, trade capture, compliance, and logistics optimisation, with the mandate to move beyond experimentation into scaled delivery.
You will get to drive AI-powered market intelligence and arbitrage capabilities, leveraging platforms, your initiatives will help traders understand when key price spreads are likely to widen or narrow over defined time horizons.

Requirements
You will bring experience leading complex digital or innovation initiatives within a trading, commodities, or financial markets / Banking environment, with demonstrable exposure to trading systems and front-to-back workflows. You will be hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level while remaining close enough to execution to ensure delivery. Above all, you will bring the ability to turn advanced technology into measurable commercial outcomes and to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced trading environment
