We are partnering with a leading global insurance firm to hire a Data Architect to drive the design, strategy, and implementation of a next-generation data platform. This role will be instrumental in building a scalable, cloud-native ecosystem that supports advanced analytics, AI adoption, and agentic workflows while ensuring strong governance and regulatory compliance.
Role
You will lead the architecture and development of the enterprise data platform, enabling the organization to harness data as a strategic asset. This includes designing a flexible, modular data cloud environment capable of integrating emerging AI tools, agent-based workflows, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Working closely with business leaders, data scientists, and engineering teams, you will define and implement a future-ready architecture that supports both traditional data use cases and AI-driven innovation. You will ensure the platform is extensible, allowing seamless onboarding of new technologies such as LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks without disrupting existing systems.
You will play a critical role in shaping the organization's AI readiness by enabling robust data foundations for agentic AI workflows, including automation, decisioning systems, and intelligent data products.
Requirement
You are degree-qualified with 8-12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform design, ideally within financial services or insurance environments.
You bring strong experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with deep knowledge of data lakes, warehouses, and modern lakehouse architectures. A solid understanding of data integration (APIs, streaming, ETL/ELT) and distributed data processing frameworks is essential.
You have exposure to AI/ML ecosystems, including experience integrating LLMs, vector databases, or automation/orchestration tools into enterprise systems. Familiarity with agentic workflows or emerging AI toolchains will be highly advantageous.
You possess a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to design flexible, future-proof architectures that can evolve with rapidly changing technologies. Experience in driving large-scale data transformation initiatives and enabling AI adoption at scale is highly valued.
